Edward Maya decolou em sua carreira com o hit "Stereo Love", que já recebeu em torno de 90 milhões de visualizações no YouTube, algo que nenhuma outra canção romena jamais alcançou. Edward também é responsável por produzir o hit "That's My Name", juntamente com o grupo Akcent.

   "Desert rain" ficou bem semelhante as suas produções anteriores e  mais uma vez conta com a parceria da Dj e cantora russa Vika Jigulina, o que deverá agradar e muito aos fãs do artista.
